Mentoring Terms & Agreement

By booking and paying for a mentoring package, you agree to the terms on this page. These terms exist to keep expectations clear and protect both you and the mentor. Mentoring services are provided by Paulette Ysasi, the creator behind Shift Maven Press.

Package Overview
Package includes: 5 mentoring sessions.
Investment: 375 USD total for the full package.
Session value: Each session is valued at 75 USD (5 sessions × 75 USD = 375 USD).
Usage window: All 5 sessions must be scheduled and completed within 45 days from the purchase date (“Package Period”).

Session Format Options
For each session, you may choose one of the following, subject to availability:
1 Email Brainstorming Day: 3–5 email exchanges in one calendar day, focused on a specific topic, question, or project.
30-minute Zoom session.
45-minute phone call.

If sessions are not used within the 45-day Package Period, they expire and are not refundable.

Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows
All sessions must be scheduled in advance using the provided booking link or by direct email.
Email Brainstorming Days are booked for a specific date; all included exchanges happen on that date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Zoom and phone sessions start and end at the scheduled time; late arrival does not extend the session.

Rescheduling
You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Sessions canceled or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice may be counted as used and not eligible for a refund.

Payments & Refund Policy
Payment
Full payment of 375 USD is required to reserve your 5-session mentoring package.
Your 45-day Package Period starts on the purchase date.

No Refunds for Used Sessions
There are no refunds for sessions that have already been used.
A session is considered used if:
The Email Brainstorming Day took place, or
The Zoom or phone session occurred, or
You missed or canceled a booked session with less than 24 hours’ notice and it was marked as used.

Refunds for Unused Sessions (Simple Dollar Amounts)
You may request a refund only for unused sessions, and only within the 45-day Package Period.
Each session is valued at 75 USD.
Refund for unused sessions is calculated as:
Number of unused sessions × 75 USD = refund amount (before any applicable processing fees).

Examples (for clarity only)
You bought 5 sessions (375 USD), used 2, have 3 unused:
3 unused sessions × 75 USD = 225 USD refund (before processing fees).
You bought 5 sessions (375 USD), used 4, have 1 unused:
1 unused session × 75 USD = 75 USD refund (before processing fees).

After the 45th day from your purchase date:
Any unused sessions are considered forfeited.
No refunds are available after the Package Period ends.

How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for unused sessions (within the 45-day window):
Send an email to the support/contact email provided in your confirmation.
Include:
Your full name
Purchase date
How many sessions you have used
A clear statement that you wish to cancel remaining sessions and request a refund for unused sessions.

Once approved, refunds are typically processed back to your original payment method within a reasonable processing timeframe (for example, 10–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider).

Boundaries, Use of Material & Client Responsibility
This is a mentoring relationship, not an employment or partnership agreement.
Mentoring is educational and informational and is not legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or therapy.
The mentor may share tools, strategies, ideas, and content for your personal and business use.
You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results in your life and business.
No specific results, income levels, publishing outcomes, platform approvals, sales, rankings, or other outcomes are guaranteed.

Confidentiality and Recording
Please do not record any call (audio or video) or share private mentoring communications without written permission.
The mentor will not publicly share your private details without your permission, except as required by law.

Non-Compete and Intellectual Property Misuse
You may not present the mentor’s proprietary frameworks, documents, or content as your own original work, resell them as your products, or use them to create a competing mentoring offer that is a direct copy of this structure or material.
Intellectual property theft or misuse (including copying this mentoring structure, branding, or proprietary materials as your own offer) may result in immediate termination of access with no refund, regardless of sessions used, and may lead to further action to protect the mentor’s rights.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, remaining services may be paused while the issue is reviewed.
If a chargeback is upheld in your favor, access to the remaining services under this package ends.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the mentor/service provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Total liability for any claim related to mentoring will not exceed the amount you paid for the mentoring package.

Agreement
By completing your purchase of the mentoring package:
You confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Mentoring Terms & Agreement.
You understand the package structure, the 45-day Package Period, and the refund policy for unused sessions.
You agree to these terms and consent to receive mentoring under this agreement.
